SDS Secure Dumbbell System is the most advanced locking system on
the market today. Traditionally, gym-style dumbbells are assembled using
different sizes of weights on a round shaft handle and secured with a bolt
on the ends. After months of usage these dumbbells tend to come loose,
resulting in noisy, unsafe operation. Any attempt to re-tighten the
dumbbell tends to strip the bolts causing more frustration.
TKO has found the solution! Our SDS series of dumbbells combines one-piece
cast heads with steel inserts, pinned and press fitted onto a squared off
handle. Then, depending on the series of dumbbell, a special thread lock
or weld is used to secure the head for extra durability and safety.
Consequently, the SDS dumbbells will never rotate like conventional
dumbbells on the market.
TKOs one-piece design offers many benefits. The SDS series are smaller
than conventional dumbbells and accurate in weight. Furthermore, molded
end caps with numbers permanently marked prevent stickers from coming off
during use.
All of our SDS series of dumbbells come with patented TRI-GRIP
tri-cornered shape and fully knurled steel handles.
