KEY PRESS HEART RATE 

Manually measurers your resting or exercise heart rate without a chest transmitter.  Simple and easy.

Press the Mode key until it indicates KEY PRESS

Place 2 fingers from the hand that is wearing the monitor to feel your pulse points at the Carotid Pulse in your neck, which is below your ear

Each time you feel the beat of your heart tap the Start key with your opposite hand for 4 to 8 beats

Now…you have your heart rate

 

AUTO SCAN

Displays highest, average and lowest heart rate for current exercise session.

Press the Mode key until it indicates hear rate symbol

Press and release Scan/rev key

Automatically scans through the following for current exercise session:

             -          1st Screen - highest (or maximum) heart rate and % of maximum heart rate

-          2nd Screen - average heart rate and % of maximum heart rate

-          3rd Screen - lowest (or minimum) heart rate and % of maximum heart rate

Information will be stored in memory and can be recalled during and after exercise session.  The memory is reset when heart rate monitoring is next switched on.

Quickly and easily locates the “mode” of information required
