Picture this. You're pedaling along on a recumbent bike. Suddenly,
you decide to push yourself and go a little faster. You feel your pulse
go up.

Has it gone above that all important targeted pulse range? And how do
you know what the right range is for you, anyway?
Until now, it was hard to say. Which is why the new Cateye EC3500
recumbent ergociser is such big news.
The EC3500, with its patented earlobe sensor, bio-feedback system and
other unique features offers the safest, most effective workout possible
by reading your pulse and allowing you to adjust your pace.
How the Biofeedback system works.
Using light impulses, the sensor accurately reads your pulse rate as
you exercise. It then feeds this data to an onboard microcomputer where
factors such as your age, speed, and distance - 7 vital factors in all -
are monitored.
Should you push beyond or drop below the target pulse range you've
preset, a beep will sound, alerting you to pace yourself accordingly.
This can easily be accomplished by manually shifting the workload level
up or down through 8 different gears.
Lets you work a wider range of muscles
...comfortably.
Cateye's recumbent design improves blood circulation during exercise
while the anatomically correct, roomy and well-cushioned seat provides
important thigh and back support. This, coupled with the exclusive leg
elevation/adjustable seat angle feature allows you to exercise a wider
range of muscle groups than other stationary bikes.
So durable, you'd think it had 9 lives.
The Cateye EC3500 features a unique Eddy Current Workload Modulation
which will enable you to enjoy smooth, stable, quiet pedaling for many
years to come. Since there's no physical contact in the magnetic
resistance system, there's little chance of breakdown.
From Biofeedback to positive feedback.
While all the scientific and technological advancements of the new
Cateye EC3500 are very impressive, the results you'll see and fell in
your own body are even more impressive.
Regular use of the Cateye EC3500 will help improve your general
health, muscle tone, and noticeably improve your stamina for other
activities - tennis, running, walking - you name it. You'll feel more
mentally alert, too.
