Motorized
Mode
The A.P.T.can be used in its motorized mode to move limbs that
have little or no ability. The sensations and benefits you will receive
by using the A.P.T. in the motorized mode are similar to those
that come from a personal therapy session. |
Manual
Mode
The resistance that the A.P.T. produces is derived from a motor,
which results in smooth, consistent movement. The A.P.T. is the
perfect tool to help you achieve increased strength and stamina.

Auto
Reverse Helps Spasms and Builds Strength
Relieve Spasms - An individual that experiences
spasms can benefit from the A.P.T.'s AUTO REVERSE technology and feel
safe in the process. When the A.P.T. is being used in its motorized mode
and the AUTO REVERSE technology is activated, the A.P.T. will
automatically shut off when it senses a spasm. The machine then waits a
few seconds before continuing in the opposite direction. This
sensor-activated therapy is repeated until the user's spasms are
relieved!
Build Strength - A person that doesn't have enough strength to
manually exercise on a stationary bike is able to increase his or her
strength by using the A.P.T. with the AUTO REVERSE technology. If a user
cannot complete a full cycle of the A.P.T.'s cranks in its active
(manual) mode, the passive (motorized) mode, with AUTO REVERSE
technology activated, will help the user build their strength to a level
that is needed to complete full cycles. The muscle strengthening therapy
consists of putting pressure against the A.P.T. while in its motorized
mode until the machine stops. After the A.P.T. stops, the machine will
reverse its direction. The higher the speed is set on the A.P.T., the
harder it is to stop the machine!
Adjustable Range of Motion and Height
/ Bidirectional
Users have the ability to adjust the range of motion on
the A.P.T. with quick release foot plates and hand grips. By adjusting
the range of motion and height of the machine, different muscle groups
can be targeted for better results. The A.P.T. can be used in forward or
reverse in the active and passive modes to exercise muscles in different
ways.
Bio-Feedback
The A.P.T. displays Bio-Feedback which enables users to
gauge their progressions in range of motion, muscle stiffness and
strength. People with no use of their upper and(or) lower limbs can use
the A.P.T.'s Bio-feedback to measure improvements in their range of
motion and muscle stiffness.
